We took a Big Step towards our future when we purchased this $60,000 Big Time son at the Crossbred Classic. Big Step was Ottenwalter’s Reserve Senior Boar at Indy. Like many, he was our pick as well as Mark’s of any boar at the show. Perhaps no other hog shown this summer was as similar to his sire Big Time in so many ways. He could be described in many words but may be best described as a power boar that still has the design, structure and pedigree to generate next level showpigs.
Big Step headlines our initial lineup of crossbred boars that we feel has a chance to make a big impact. Our goal was to piece together an elite set of boars that we can use and offer to customers. We appreciate getting the chance to start on the right foot and land a great one from the Ottenwalter program. |
